We packed up early and headed from our digs to farewell the Mac's (actually it was the other way around) and headed to change over the little wheels for the holiday bus.... We had to fill the blue beast with fuel before handing it back - the fuel consumption gauge said we were achieving 3 litres per one hundred Kay's, and we put in 3.1 litres for our 3 days of gentle use.
Picking up the Greek god Apollo, we stopped and groceried up, along with a stop over at Bunnings (Bunnings is Bunnings everywhere). Loaded up, we headed south out of the burbs and into some of the smaller towns. The snow season looks like it starting early and bringing some cooler weather with it.
Not many pics today, but having never travelled like this before and travelling with a campervan we need to learn some foreign lingo to fit into the camp kitchens, and I have worked out how to get a kiwi going..... When they ask where we are from I say.... the mainland, I hope I make it home....
Tonight we are Geraldine Route 79 Caravan Park,.
